New Members john&liz Posted September 23, 2011 New Members Share Posted September 23, 2011 Hi everyone.... I just read a series of posts from 2008 about the status (open for collecting, with or without permission, or closed) of the white fern site in St. Clair, PA. I had heard from a few sources that the site was closed to collectors, but what I read in the 2008 posts made it sound like it was open. That was 3 years ago, and I know how quickly things change. Could anyone verify this either way for me? My name is John, I'm new to the forum, and my girlfriend Liz and I love to collect up here in New England. We come through PA from time to time and have been curious about the "old" St. Clair spot for many years. Thanks very much.... John
erose
It's open. Look for newer posts. Just be respectful and do us all proud with some great specimens.
Fossildude19
Welcome to the Forum! Erose is right. It's open to collecting, just don't dig under the trees. It's a great place to colect! Feel free to PM me if you need directions or other info.
