Sharkbyte
Hello Taffie, Yes. This is a Fish Rostra. It is Cylindracanthus and as far as I know, I heard this is the only known remains that has been found of this species. Do a google search on Cylindracanthus and you will see several nice examples, though none any better than the one in your third picture. I don't think the first pictured fossil is the same but possibly still a Fish Rostrum. Great finds. (thanks for the earlier information Carl) Bobby Edited November 15, 2011 by Sharkbyte "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." - Confucius
