NiccoloM
I am looking for reliable websites and reliable way to appraise the authenticity of mosasaur and meg teeth. Also, are there places where I can have them carbon dated?
ahuijsmans
Hi, I personally haven't seen any fake teeth, I do however see fake partial skulls of mosasaur (mostly moroccan). Some teeth do get some restoration but that isn't always a bad thing... There is a lot of knowledge on this forum so why don't you try here? Also, I don't know if carbon dating is the best way for these old teeth, to my knowledge carbon dating is only applicable to more recent material, pleistocene max maybe.. Scylla
Carbon dating will not work on these teeth, too old.
