chele
I got these in the mail today from fossilDawg!! It is sooo cute!! I have always wanted a crab! Don must be a mind reader. The crab is Dakoticancer australis, and is from the late Cretaceous (Maestrichtian) coon Creek Formation of Union County, Mississippi. The clams are Nucula percrassa. They are from the same site as the crab. The sea urchins are Hardouinia bassleri, from the late Cretaceous Tombigbee Sand Member of the Eutah Formation, Montgomery County, Alabama. FossilDawg had won one of the boxes from the riddle contest. He is the proud owner of 44 pounds of fossils!! :startle: I did not expect to receive anything in return. The TFF and all the members are awesome!! Thanks to members on here I now have fossils I would never find. My collection is growing! The riddle contest was so fun! Maybe once I get settled in at Jordan and have collected enough material I will have to do the same. P.S. The only reason I posted the above info about the fossils is because FossilDawg sent me the info. Chelebele
