It has brought me some rare and unusual specimens. It is hard to shy away from looking for those Lee Creek megs, but that mine has so much more to offer. Now ..... if we can only get back in. Micro's, megs, modern, bones, shells and a buffet of almost any type of fossil to satisfy any collector. Thanks. erik m
Very nice Lee Creek fossils. I also have a nice collection from there the teeth are hard to get over here in the Netherlands. I post a vew more pics later. Greetings Erik
Lloyd
Nice to see an assortment of micro material. Like others have said, what you see mostly out of Aurora is the bigger stuff. Putting them on a dime was a great idea too because it really brought home just how small these fossils are.
JC3
Love those micro fossils. The diversity of your finds is fantastic. It is a whole lot of fun going through all that dirt for small treasures. In a five gallon bucket of Aurora waste material there can be thousands of small shark teeth. (I know... I counted once... ugghh.) I just posted a couple micros from Aurora today and I'll get a few more up in the future. If you have any interest, please take a look. Thanks Lloyd, searching for micro's at home allows me "hunts" when I am unable to get out for whatever reason. And some of the teeth I find are amazingly beautiful.
