Cris
I went for a dive the other day and found this absolutely perfect jaguar (Panthera onca) canine. My first complete cat canine! I wish I would have had my camera with me to get an insitu shot because it was just beautiful sitting there.. In addition to being nice colored and perfect, it's as solid as a rock (even the root is glossy). I let out a nice "Oooooooooooo, aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh" through my regulator when I saw it. -Cris

barefootgirl
Magnificent find, the color is amazing. tracer
i would have commented on this situation earlier but i couldn't figure out what to say. i don't think jealous at all properly characterizes the effect observing this find creates upon me. it's like this - basically i've already calculated how finding this would have affected my life. first i would have gotten back into silversmything to create some sort of custom holder for it to make it a pendant. planning and execution on that would take some time. but then i would cease all activity in my life that would be a problem for me wearing the pendant fully out there in all its glory for the world to see. if that means not going to work, weddings, or any other occasions where social mores dictate the appropriateness of giant prehistoric fangs being displayed, then so be it. i'd also openly wear a semi-large knife or other weapon of some sort to deter anyone from making a grab for my megafang. feel free to incorporate any of my thoughts into your own plan of action going forward. i've already contacted lloyd's of lowden on your behalf regarding an insurance policy of epic proportions... Cris
While I do think that would be the hands down coolest pendant on the planet, I'd be too scared to wear it. Can you imagine going to show someone the tooth and you find that you just have a little piece of silver attached to a string?!
tracer
i don't make things that fail. it would be over-engineered and wind-tunnel tested. besides, if you lost it, at least you'd have something in common with the jaguar.
