fossilsofnj
The highlight of two days of collecting with my older son was this mosasaur tooth. He and his wife headed back to Rochester, NY this morning with a labeled riker mount and a decent size bag of NJ Cretaceous shark teeth. siteseer
In the late 80's a fossil dealer had Late Cretaceous fossils from somewhere along the Intracoastal Waterway. I think it was near Myrtle Beach. I saw Scapanorhynchus teeth, including a couple near 2 inches and a mosasaur tooth. Can you find those in South Carolina? I want one, too!! squali
Wow! Now thats a tooth Thanks for sharing. When they are that nice your relations don't look at you as funny as when I drop a 10 mm broken, worn tooth on the table with a goofy grin It's hard to remember why you drained the swamp when your surrounded by alligators. fossilsofnj
Thanks everyone, Life seems to move at an incurable speed and in this rush we sometimes overlook what is truly important. The real treasure was spending time with my older boy, the tooth was just icing on an otherwise perfect cake. john It's good sportsmanship to not pick up lost golf balls while they are still rolling. - Mark Twain
