The Winner of the December 2011 Vertebrate Find Of The Month is the beautifully preserved Panthera onca jaguar canine from the Pleistocene deposits in Florida, USA! Congratulations to Cris on his first complete feline canine!

Thank you everybody! I really didn't expect it to win against all the other fantastic entries. I guess out of all the fossils I enjoy finding, cat material is probably my favorite. I'll be checking out that same area a lot better in the near future to see if there's more nice Pleistocene material and fortunately most of the stuff has that nice color that this canine does.
