lawooten
There are two sloth teeth, parts of croc jaw, turtle, shark, horse, deer, coprolite, a pathologic certain pic P1120418 the bone and vert in upper right where found together along with antlers and the teeth to the bottom right though I do not think all the teeth are from the same animal. A croc vert is in bottom right of pic P1120416. The vert on the top left in that same pic was in the same area. Sloth teeth were about ten feet away. I am still working on the imprints am heading back to collect more of them first part of next week. Kehbe
Wow, N.C. has some great fossiling opportunities! Quite different! It is amazing to me the differences in variety in different places. I guess if you think about it though, it is no different nowadays with certain species only appearing in certain areas! Nice finds and certainly was a good trip! It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is the most adaptable to change. Sharkbyte
Great finds. Can't wait to see what you find when you go back. We are practically neighbors. If ya'll ever want to go to Rocky Point or somewhere else like that let me know and maybe we can plan it out. MikeDOTB
Great finds once again! In the shark teeth picture, what kind is that tooth in the upper left corner? The light colored shiny one? Is that a big mako or great white? Quite a wide assortment, congrats, that was a special day! MikeDOBT DO, or do not. There is no try.
