Nandomas
Hello everyone, finally I was able to cut and clean our 2011 Germany triassic fossil hunt. I need help in identify some these teeth. The two with classic shark shapes I guess are Hybodus and the other one conical, with vertical lines is from water reptile. here the pics: Erosion... will be my epitaph! http://www.paleonature.org/ https://fossilnews.org/
TMNH
http://www.palaeo-online.de/e/trias/fish.html Based on this site the teeth look like Hybodus to me. The "tooth" with vertical lines looks a bit like the dorsal spine...I'm no expert on sharks, though. Great finds! Nice to see some triassic fossils! oilshale
Hybodus for sure, the other might be a Nothosaurus tooth. Nice finds. Thomas Be not ashamed of mistakes and thus make them crimes (Confucius, 551 BC - 479 BC).
Nandomas
Thanks, these are the fisrt pictures I am doing with my new (actually used) toy, canon mpe 65 mm manual focus. I will improve them in the next days. It's my first time handling triassic vertebrates. we found a lot of scales and other small teeth.
