Erics44
Hi This is my first post My son is very interested in dinosaurs, and i know every kid is, but he seems more interested in learning about real dinosaurs reading his dinosaur encyclopedia and not kiddy books and that sort of thing Anyway, was hoping to take him fossil hunting And im not sure if this is mainly a us forum but does anyone know where the best place to find fossils in the north west of england? Thanks in advance

Kosmoceras
Welcome to the forum from another UK member! I would seriously recomend Whitby, you can come back with loads of finds, but make sure you bring the right equipment! Best wishes, Thomas. Erics44
Thanks What equipment do you suggest?
Kosmoceras
A hammer, chisel, a strong bag, hammering gloves, warm clothing, safety goggles, foam wrap, a notebook and a camera. There is more you can bring, but this is some of the essentials. Good luck hunting! Best wishes, Thomas.
