mikeymig
I entered this tiny .4" long TRIMERUS delphinocephalus in the fossil of the month for December 2011 (lost) and I just got it back today from my preparator. The "genal" spine came out great but the big surprise are the faint outlines of lateral lobes and furrows. I never knew that Trimerus had a spine when they were young and now the Calymene like glabella. COOL! I tried taking closeups of the trilobite with my camera by holding it up to my microscope. I hope you can see these rare features okay. Middle Silurian, Clinton group, Rochester shale, Rochester NY. Found at 2:10 pm on 12/08/2011. Many times I've wondered how much there is to know. led zeppelin

mikeymig
Hard core! I grew up in Amsterdam, NY. Daryl. You cant find them (trilobites) sittin on ur butt. Some places I collect at are better in the winter. Its cold but theres no mosquitoes, deer flies, ticks, black flies, or my favorite giant water bugs. Many times I've wondered how much there is to know. led zeppelin
