Lobster Claw

Hi everyone,

When I found this, I did not think anything of it; I thought it was just another shell. But back home, I realised it was not a shell, but part of a lobster claw!

Pictures do not show much, but they show it a little. The finer details I can't show you, as I don't have a good enough camera.

It is about 3cm across, and it has a little bit of the carapace attached. The carapace is the pinkish/grey bit, and the orangy bit is inside, where carapace has fallen off.

There is also what looks like a leg, again, it has carapace on it. It is about 1.5cm across.

Next time, I hope to find a more complete one, they turn up quite often at Totternhoe.
