Maryland Otodus

Below is my latest Otodus from Maryland, measuring in at 1 7/8". Compared to the other couple hundred I have, this is one of the nicest and largest I have found. It was among the first teeth I found that day so it made my day quite early. Everything after that was "gravy" as they say.

This was actually a "land" find, "close" to the river. One of these days I'll gather up all my Otodus teeth to illustrate just how many of them are normally damaged to some degree. That's why, when you can find one this nice, and this size, it's extra special :)

Daryl, Congrats!! You are slaying the Potomac lately in terms of quality. That tooth is one of the nicest Otodus teeth I've seen come from the river. Very cool brown/cloudy coloration too as opposed to the solid darker blacks you usually find there. Awesome find. Hope you can keep it up.

Superchoice! I have to wonder whether you used a time machine and found my old honey hole.
