Sharks of SC
Hello everyone, This Friday kicked off my spring break! While I plan on heading to my family's place on Edisto Beach later in the week, I'm enjoying these first few days of my break catching up on a little fossil hunting on my favorite local beach. The wind-churned surf, combined with a large tide swing exposed a lot of new material. While I didn't find many teeth either day, the overall quality and nice colors made for some great finds. On Saturday, I found a nice Isurus desori mako, a serious shamer of a Carcharodon megalodon, and a of couple interesting little Hemiprisitis serra. On Sunday, I found a little meg and two Alopias grandis threshers :fainting-smiley: All in all, it was a very successful weekend! I'm headed out for a few mid-day low tides this week, so be on the lookout for future posts. Enjoy the pictures and as always... Happy Hunting!
