E.T.
I have been searching this quarry in Dayton Ohio for months, Oakes Quarry, and finally found what I was looking for! Trilobite pygidium! bonus crinoid calyx:

erose
Nice finds. The crinoid calyx would make my day. Bumastus can be common in some of the Brassfield beds as well. I have a bunch from over near Huber Heights.
E.T.
That gastropod layer is where I searched for the trilobite. Crinoid calyx was found at the entrance in those black weathered out rocks. Erose, do you know of any fun spots near Wright State U's campus? Other than Oakes Quarry and Caesar's Creek, I've pretty much searched out those two places and now have to travel to Indiana Rt 1 roadcut to find trilobites. I need to find them! Biscuit
There is a small roadcut in "Rush Run" park near Oxford OH that has been productive for me for Trilos in the past. Germantown Dam's spillway hill seems like it would be a good spot, but I've never found anything great there.
