Quarry411
The Ernst Quarries will be closed this Sunday (March 18th) due to rain. They will re-open on Friday (March 23rd) for all BVMNH participants who need to re-schedule. Sat. (March 17th) participants are still welcome to dig, but may re-schedule for the following weekend as well. Sat. will be wet, and we will be digging "Slow Curve" - for the brave few who challenge the weather. Friday (March 16th) will be business as usual, but participants may re-schedule to fit their personal trip planning. www.sharktoothhillproperty.com

Interpaleo
I am so dissapointed... Cursed weather. Bakersfield, why do you make things so difficult for me? 600 miles might be a little too far for a single day of digging. I'm going to be going absolutely stir crazy waiting another month. Quarry411
Cursed weather indeed! The Ernst Quarries will now be closed this Saturday as well. With a 90% chance of rain, our roads just won't take it. On the bright side, this should help the wildflowers come out - making our area one of the prettiest dig locations in the world - at least for a month or two.
