Nandomas
Nummulites are single cell organisms. In the past they were considered as petrified remains of a common food plant, the lentil, dropped during the building of the Pyramids by Egyptian slaves. Even the Romans noticed those beautiful round objects during their conquest of France and Spain. I found several of there lovely coin-shaped Foraminifera called Nummulites years ago in several locations (Cretaceous and Eocene) in South-West Europe. I hope you enjoy them Erosion... will be my epitaph! http://www.paleonature.org/ https://fossilnews.org/

Ludwigia
I also think they're neat. Here's one I found a few years ago on a visit to the Eocene at St. Pankraz near Salzburg.
