Missourian
oh and trust me the outcrop smelled great. Nothing like natural gas on shale split. Smells like victory. Context is critical.

Shamalama
Is that Maysville where you were looking perplexed? -Dave __________________________________________________ Geologists on the whole are inconsistent drivers. When a roadcut presents itself, they tend to lurch and weave. To them, the roadcut is a portal, a fragment of a regional story, a proscenium arch that leads their imaginations into the earth and through the surrounding terrain. - John McPheeIf I'm going to drive safely, I can't do geology. - John McPheeCheck out my Blog for more fossils I've found: http://viewsofthemahantango.blogspot.com/
squalicorax
Is that Maysville where you were looking perplexed? Oh yes very much so. Took me a good 30 minutes to find my self there. It is pretty much a canyon. Also I just found out that Dry Dredgers first collected the road cut after expansion. They did good. sward
Squalicorax, Now that's what I call a spring break. Fascinating fossils and site pics. I love all of them, particularly the trilos.
