Wow!! Awesome finds, love Rosendale - I found lots of crinoids there over summer 2010. Just came back from a trip with my brother(Umbro) to Gilboa a few days ago and found some neat stuff though I'm not sure what it is, just looks cool haha. When I get a chance I'll post some screen shots from some footage I shot there.

Really cool to see someone exploring the Hudson Valley. There is certainly a lot of barren rock in between the good layers but diligence pays off. Have you ever been to Hasbrouck Park in Kingston?

No but looking it up now.....Looks like I might not be out fishing on the boat tomorrow so Fossil trip is in the works......:) thanks for the tip

Pretty nice finds Sting! Mike and I are heading up to the catskills tomorrow actually. I think We'll be hitting Gilboa and possibly further up to schoharie near rickard hill rd again. We've been filming our travels and will be posting a video up on youtube about it.
