I've been hunting the beach for 2years when I go down, but have never found 2 large megs at the same trip. This is some of the nicer finds. The first meg tooth I found was in the afternoon and my wife dropped me off while she went shopping and when I got out on the beach I started walking up the beach and I saw the black triangle shape about 10 yards up the beach. When I saw it I knew it could be a big tooth but couldn't believe I would find one that some with other people walking by. A gentlemen was metal detecting about 20 yard beyond and when I talked with him he said he saw it but didn't realize what it was. One night when the tide was going out I went out at 12 midnight and stayed out until 4;00 and did ok. The last day we were there I went out at 5:30 in the morning and walked up and down the beach a couple of times and on the way back to the car at low tide I walked past a lady and looked down and saw something about the size of a half dollar that I knew was interesting and when I pulled it out it was my 2nd complete meg tooth. That was on Friday the 13th so don't let anyone say Friday the 13th is unlucky. I hope to have some more to post by the weekend. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
