We caught nothing! so I walked the beach (even though i am not fond of beach hunting) I found this, I am not sure if it is fossilized or not. Found in NC, North Topsail. I can't believe you didn't catch any fish. The fishing has been amazing so far this year. Auspex Posted April 22, 2012 Share Posted April 22, 2012 It has sponge and/or bryozoan on it, as well as some worm tubes. I can't speak for how old it is, but the underlying layers aren't brand new.
