steelhead9
Great idea to wait for the prepping before asking for it back! Still Life Fossils
Boesse
Nobody knew about it until after it was prepared and on the auction block. It would have been preferable to have a team of paleontologists dig it up - the poachers broke and damaged a bunch of the bones, and thanks to them, we also don't have any locality data. steelhead9
Mongolias leading paleontologist (now deceased) knew about it when he sold it and expedited it's export. Doesn't make it right, but I'm just sayin... Still Life Fossils
Boesse
Steelhead... I have no idea what you're talking about, and that information has not appeared in any news article about this. I highly, highly doubt that there's a shred of truth to that statement. No offense. But, if you can tell us who that was, when it happened, and provide proof of the sale, then I'll eat my hat. Otherwise, extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.
