docpaleo
I am a non-academic researcher of fossil sponges. In the past I was a member of a professional online forum of sponge researchers but cannot find the forum anymore. Right now I need to find the current source being used in resolving taxonomy questions. I have just finished translating a lay paper from French to English, "Eponge Fossiles des Argiles et Sables de Touraine1989. The systematics ane not entirely correct and I am not sure which reference I should use in straightening it out, Syatema Naturae 2000 J.J. Sepkoski 202 Finks et al., 2004 or some other document I am yet unaware of. In the past I would have contacted Dr. Keith Rigby but unfortunately due to his ill health that is not possible. I would appreciate a source or a direction I can turn to in this matter if you have the time. All the specimens I am working on at the moment are Senonian in age from the Indre-et-Loire Department of France. Thank you for your time. docpaleo
