Fossils At A Library

Recommended Posts

While cleaning out our library closet, a closet that has not been cleaned in almost 6 to 10 years, we came across some fossils. For the most part the fossils are of sea shells that we could identify but one is very different from the others. We have guessed that is some kind of starfish or some kind of crinoid. We would like to be positive of what it is though so we can use it, hopefully, in a display. Any information you can give us would be wonderful!

With somewhat indistinct forms like that, my first thought is of filled burrows and/or feeding traces.
