DrawingBlanks
I think I have found a fossil, but it isn't an impression in stone. It seems a very old bone. My concern is, maybe I have not a fossil and should be reporting my find. I don't even know where I should start. Thanks, suggestions and answers appreciated! sward
Welcome to the forum. Why don't you post some pics of it. I'm sure someone will be able to identify it. That will help you decide if you may want to report it if it's something unusual for your area. Fossilized bones don't always have to be in stone. Auspex
Please include the location of the find (so that we can determine its probable geologic age), and whether it was embedded or loose.
