I recall Gerta Keller talking about the double-extinction theory on a TV documentary several years ago. David Archibald has been skeptical of the meteor-only idea for years (see his 1996 book "Dinosaur Extinction and the End of an Era: What the Fossils Say). I was glad to see both credited.

And, I just noticed that Peter Ward is involved; excellent!

Thanks for posting. I find the theory plausible and have been thinking along these lines also myself. The evidence for both events has been growing over the years.
