Ludwigia
This is another of my field finds which wasn't worth preparing, but I noticed it would probably look pretty on the inside, so I cut and polished it today, something I haven't done for a while now. Looks like it was worth the effort though. Prorsisphinctes sp. phragmocon. 6cm. Also one of the halves with backdrop lighting. Greetings from the Lake of Constance. Fossildude19
I agree with Astrinos, Roger! You just need to figure out a way to display it with the backlighting. Nice Job! Regards, Thanks Tim. I've already got some of them displayed in Riker Mounts. Maybe I should bore holes in the back and place a spotlight behind them. Greetings from the Lake of Constance. Terry Dactyll
Roger.... Great job.... Its great to see the inside as well as the outside and they look fabulous in the frame....It would be good if you could mask off the light source from behing apart from the ammonite shapes... That would give you the best results I reckon... Cheers Steve... And Welcome if your a New Member...

Shamalama
Drool... droool.... *mop* Drooool!!!!! Can you bring a suitcase full of your "extras" when you head over in October? When will that be, anyway? I'd like to meet the man behind all these beautiful fossils! -Dave __________________________________________________ Geologists on the whole are inconsistent drivers. Nandomas
Wow nice cut... but I am a good boy , I must find the courage and try to kill in half an ammonite by myself... Ludwigia
Wow nice cut... but I am a good boy , I must find the courage and try to kill in half an ammonite by myself... Thanks Nando. It makes the act somewhat easier when you choose ones which are partial or would anyway be difficult to prepare. Greetings from the Lake of Constance.
