Yet Another River Find Possibly Equus Leg Bone

Hi all yet another of my river finds , looks like Equus s.p metapodial , metacarpal ?

any help appreciated ( weighs 155 g)

Hey ckmerlin. I would say that this bone appears to be an equus cannon bone. Without the ends of the bone intact it may be difficult to say for sure. I've found several of them myself withing these last few months, but I'm far from an expert. Here are a couple of the ones I've found for comparison...

Hi Rob thanks , yes I think Equus metapodial is the closest match I can find also.

Those are very nice finds thanks for posting them :) very handy for comparative purposes
