Agree!!! Russel is on the cutting edge of 3D Xray imaging.

Very cool. This is the state of the art in paleontological technology!

We are also learning about 3D printing used to make casts of dinosaur bones - for more than a century, plaster or plastic molds were the only way to image dinosaur bones, then graphics software allowed us to simulate or complete partial fossils digitally. Now we can use 3D printing to actually render models of these fossils. Scanning systems are still expensive but 3D printers are now under $1000 for small systems that do wood or plastic.
