Hello,

It'is my first message on this forum. I am 41 years old and i start to search fossils in the places i work.

Excuse my poor english, I'm french.....

I found this broken shark tooth at a quarry located in Chaumont-en-vexin - Paris basin- Lower lutetian.

Could it be a Striatolamia ?

Thank you for your help,

Manu

Hello Manu,

The crown is too broad-based to be Striatolamia. It is worn but I think it is a Jaekelotodus tooth.
