paleostone
Some nice find ... (90 myo) At the beginning I took it for a tiny shell of a brachiopod kind Isocrania sp, but I'm not sure now ... specimen with a diameter of about 8-9 mm, a thickness of about 3 mm ... so I guess it is too thick? After that, there are no traces of the shell on the outside and there is only precipitate ... Does anyone know what this is? Thanks. sward
Could you be looking at the end of a piece of horn coral? I don't know if the time period would be correct. SWardSoutheast Missouri (formerly Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX) USA
