It's been awhile since I've been out for various reasons and I had just about had enough of not being able to hunt so I ventured out this morning. Not sure if I would find anything since we have not had any rain lately, but I think I did fairly well considering. These all have not been cleaned obviously, but it's been awhile since I've posted so thought I would share these!

This one is my favorite. Using my cell, I took a shot of it before I got it out. post-4072-0-16831000-1355097107_thumb.jpg and after I got it out. post-4072-0-75954700-1355096999_thumb.jpg

A few more I found, two I had to glue together as they were already broke. post-4072-0-12864300-1355096993_thumb.jpg

Some other little I assume gastros that I picked up: post-4072-0-58835400-1355097049_thumb.jpg

Brought several small slabs home that have a variety of fossils in them: post-4072-0-72386800-1355097058_thumb.jpg post-4072-0-20990600-1355097063_thumb.jpg post-4072-0-43794500-1355097070_thumb.jpg

Larger one I picked up. post-4072-0-25949300-1355097103_thumb.jpg

And last but not least all the echinoids (they needed a bath hence the tub). post-4072-0-31824800-1355097095_thumb.jpg

Finding and removing one of the Oxytropidoceras ammonites with a complete keel is near impossible, it will make a very nice display piece especially with the little hitch hiker. Awesome finds as usual---Tom

wondering if this one is venezoliceras or manuiceras from the goodland with its straighter, coarser ribs than on oxys... also wondering if the sheen comes from calcite or phosphate... great specimen either way incl what looks like a rather complete keel.

Yes the keel is complete. There was nothing left in the rock of this one (except a few of the top of the ribs were partially broke off when extracting) so I'm assuming it's a near complete specimen. Either way, it's officially one of my favorites now and sure wished it was clean lol.

Nice! it's Heteraster Texanus,i think, :)

The big middle one is probably a heteraster, but the others are either lambertiasters or macrasters.
