New Members MissBliss Posted January 16, 2013 New Members Share Posted January 16, 2013 Can you help me ID this fossil? The formation is completely round. It's approximately 5 inches wide, 2 inches height, 3.5 long. Weighs approximately 1lb. Bought it years ago in NYC. Any leads much appreciated. Kehbe
MissBliss, Welcome to the forum from Missouri! The value in most fossils is in the scientific signifigance, not monetary, unless of course you are talking about a complete T-Rex or similar. Don't be dissapointed to find your coral is worth only a few dollars! It's probably worth more as a nice display piece on a curio shelf! Again, welcome to the Forum! It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is the most adaptable to change.
