mjfolks
I hunt invertebrate fossils in and around Topeka Kansas. The fossils are mostly from the Pennsylvanian Era and found in the Topeka Limestone formation. I found this fossil about 2 weeks ago and haven't had any luck identifying it, I took pictures of both sides. If further pictures are needed please let me know and I will post. Thank you for any help, MJ http://s1097.beta.photobucket.com/user/mjfolks/media/DSCF9054_zps3b2f426f.jpg.html?sort=3&o=10, http://s1097.beta.photobucket.com/user/mjfolks/media/DSCF7912_zpsdd355438.jpg.html?sort=3&o=5 http://s1097.beta.photobucket.com/user/mjfolks/media/DSCF7915_zps3fbce09b.jpg.html?sort=3&o=2 http://s1097.beta.photobucket.com/user/mjfolks/media/DSCF7925_zps3fd012ed.jpg.html?sort=3&o=0 http://s1097.beta.photobucket.com/user/mjfolks/media/DSCF7924_zps9fdbc8ca.jpg.html?sort=3&o=
Missourian
To me, at least, it appears to be a concretion. In any case, I'm interested in seeing more images of fossils that you've collected around Topeka. I've had only a few opportunities to hunt the various beds of the Virgilian, and I've yet to collect from the Topeka Fm. Context is critical.
