It's official! Our winner for the 2012 invert / Plant FOTM goes to the Devonian Pyritized Blastoids, Trilobite, and Crinoid from New York. It was clear after the first day of voting which invert fossil would take the trophy. I think everybody here can agree that this is truly a world-class piece. Congratulations to triarthrus and thank you for sharing such an unforgettable specimen with all of us.

Yeah, congratulations!

The small version of the pic didn't look like much at first but when i enlarged it, i was absolutely blown away.

Congrats for this invert winner for 2012 ! It is a marvelous fossil with several species on it, and a baby trilo ! Pyrit is very nice in them !
