garyc
My son picked this up a few years ago and I never got around to trying to id it. I'm fairly certain it came from the North Sulphur River, cretaceous. It is very crystallized inside each chamber. The only thoughts I have are that it's a cross section of a gastropod or snail shell? Auspex
Is it sandstone, or has it crossed the line to quartzite? garyc
the top and bottom (top right pic and bottom left pic) seem to be sand stone. The walls of the inner chambers are hard to make out, because of the crystals.
