Kosmoceras
Not a lot of entries this month, so to bulk it out I will add one more which has recently been added to the rare pile. Leptostyrax sp, perfect undamaged tooth which is soon going to go up on the website British Chalk Fossils as an example. Leptostyrax sp Found 16th Feb 2013 Bedfordshire, England Cretaceous, 95 - 98.5 myo Regards,
Kosmoceras
My invert fossil - One of the main claw appendages from the lobster Palaeastacus sussexensis. The actual claws seem to be in the lost section but any lobster material is not found every day in the chalk. The quarry I collect at seems to have more than most areas though. Palaeastacus sussexensis Found 16th Feb 2013 Bedfordshire, England Cretaceous, 95 - 98.5 myo Regards,
Nandomas
Yeah. You could burn the midnight oil in that thing. Aladin's lamp Thanks everyone. Caleb
Here's a bug that has been sitting in a drawer unprepped for a long time. I gave this to my father to prep last week and just got it back today and I'm quite pleased. The left free-cheek is missing, but when I handed it over to get prepped I thought they both were missing, so that was a nice surprise. Bumastoides milleri (Billings, 1859) Platteville Formation, Mifflin member Middle Ordovician, Blackriverian Southwest Wisconsin Prep finished Feb. 27th 2013 Caleb Midwestpaleo.com

GerryK
I just finished prepping these two white Calymene sp.on a red limestone from the Silurian of Missouri. The amazing thing about one of the Calymene is the rare occurrence of epibionts (small bryozoans?) attaching to the cephalon, thorax and pygidium. They are labeled 1 thru 5. I will be discussing these 2 trilobites later in my "Missouri Trilobites" post.

What I mean is do you think that's the trilobites "death march"? If so that would be sad but yet very cool! Mikey Many times I've wondered how much there is to know. led zeppelin
