Help to id please.

It was collected into alluvial sediments.

There is eroding cliff with Lower Campanian bed near.

Crown view looks rather human. So could also be a very worn pig, I suppose.

I wonder why the tooth is so heavily polished. Is there some sort of (dark) matrix between the roots (in the first picture?. If so, this argues in favour of a fossil.

It appears to me heavily water-worn and perhaps polished by silt load in the water. I'm not seeing any matrix adhering to it at all, but rather some staining of the dentin of the roots.

I agree with RichW on both the modern aspect and the either pig or human, but that part I am not so sure. And the yellow looks like dentine. Yes, looks very water worn.
