kirk
Went to Martin Martin Marietta Belgrade quarry Friday. It was cool out and the wind was really blowing. Hunted hard but most of the teeth I found were broken. Did find a vertebrae which was a first for me here. Usually just find shards of bones here and there. It it beat up and I am not for sure what it is from. Posted more pictures of it over on the id forum. Reposted pictures further down the thread. Auspex
Thanks Kirk! I have no idea what the viewing problem is, but I was pretty worried when others said they could see the pictures... Glad you persevered in the cold wind and made some nice finds. The big vertebra may be from the tail end of a cetacean. masonboro37
Great to run into you the other day there. That is an interesting vertebrae. I have no idea what it is, but awesome find! It sure was chilly last Friday! Process of identification "mistakes create wisdom".
