Aurelius
Hi everyone, I found these two today, and wondered if anyone might be able to help me identify them? Both are about 7 inches long. One has irregular black bits on it, and the other has lots of lumps and bumps, although some of them look (to my uneducated eyes) like vertebrae. (I have marked these out on the images). I'm not sure that either are actually fossils, but I know there's someone here who'll be able to let me know one way or the other! There are two photos of each piece. Thanks in advance, Paul Edited March 26, 2013 by Aurelius
Auspex
To me, they look more geological/mineralogical than organic, but better eyes may tell you elsewise, so wait for more opinions.
