First Tully Monster For 2013

RCFossils

Recommended Posts

Last week I took advantage of the warming weather and made a last minute trip out to Pit 11.

It was a great day of collecting and I managed to collect over eight hundred concretions in six hours.

I found several fossils including a partial Tully Monster already split open. I think i will have a few more once the concretions split.

Unfortunately i did not take many pictures but here are a few is one of the Tully.

I will update this post if i find anything else interesting

So the place is NOT picked over quite yet, as was my earlier impression? At least not after a winter/rain?

Awesome find! I would've thought the site would have been picked over, but the 800 concretions beg to differ I guess :P

Less then one one thousandth of one percent of the original collecting area is still accessible but if you are persistant, there are still great finds to be made.
