tracer Posted November 28, 2008 Share Posted November 28, 2008 found a seriously-mineralized bone in a coastal environment. looks like a really big fat rib piece. but looking at the ends, there's no cancellous bone visible. is this from a whalegong or something? i always thought bone marrow was important? why would anything need a rib this substantial? must have had gold innards or something...
