Northern Sharks
The Great White North is truly living up to it's reputation. Now that my hunting is over for the year (and has been for the last few weeks) here's a cephalopod I found on one of my last trips to the quarry. This would be Ordovician, Bobcaygeon Formation. There's no sign of a siphuncle so I'm hoping that the shape is distinctive enough to possibly ID this critter. As always, thanks in advance There's no limit to what you can accomplish when you're supposed to be doing something else
Auspex
Very cool that it's "flying" out of the matrix like that! Guest Nicholas
Much better than the pseudo Cephalopod I found.
Guest solius symbiosus
Virtually, impossible to ID without the siphuncle. I would call it "orthcerid".

That's what I figured as well, but I just had to ask anyway There's no limit to what you can accomplish when you're supposed to be doing something else
