tjcintx
Our roadside finds outside of Coperras Cove, Tx. Our original site just outside of town towards Lampasass was a combination of being greatly disturbed from road construction along side it and being picked through but we found a couple things still. We found a new site outside of town where much of what we found came from and if we get through that way again will stop there if it hasn't been developed by that time. tjcintx
Actually, am fighting disgruntlement as my husband the non-fossil enthusiest was the one who found all the best pieces. And my favorite treature sea urchin, I personally found not a one myself! But maybe this will help him start becoming an enthusiest and find it just as important to seek out new cuts, new formations and boldly stop spontaneously at the side of the road! Fossildude19
I find that the less experienced and less interested our friends or family are in fossils, the better the finds. There is some correlation there, to be sure. Nice finds either way. tjcintx
They prob. won't clean up much but can't wait to get home and put a toothbrush to them. I almost got mine out of our suitcase but figure I may need it for myself before we get back home. My husband has a "fossil" garden on his "to-do" list, a compromise to my big bowls, buckets and boxes in the way in our patio.
BobWill
*treasure (not treature!) Ha ha! I read as "creature". I propose a new word...treature: treasured creature Gardens and patios are great places for fossils but my best ones are invited inside and get displayed on the shelf right next to Gradnma's picture.
