Beach Boy
Hi all When i looked at the prep required for such a small fossil i wondered for second should i put it on my sometime maybe pile. Glad i didn't as it is a beautiful Dactylioceras Semicelatum from the Yorkshire Jurassic Coast. Dave

Thanks Darren Prepping for me is as good as finding the fossils , i get the same buzz exposing a fossil as i do from being the first person to find it on the beach. Beach Boy
Lovely specimen, it's amazing the variety you're getting from the glacial stuff. Thanks Tarquin I prefer the Holderness to the Jurassic coast because you never know what you will find , although you will find more fossils on the Jurassic coast the finds are mostly predictable d commune and hildas and at this time of the year most of the popular spots are full of tourists with hammers so it's the glacial stuff for me until winter and rough seas scare all the tourists away.
