Kosmoceras
Hi all, I was out collecting Eocene (51-52myo) fossils today on the Isle of Sheppey in Kent. The fossils come from the London Clay, once a tropical environment similar to how Indonesia is today. The fossils were not plentiful - the conditions were not great for productivity so I did not come back with many specimens but I had an enjoyable day out. Currently in soak are the shark teeth, various sp. Regards,

Auspex
I guess chocolate pudding makes for unsure footing! Did you happen to find any bird bones? Kosmoceras
Unfortunately no bird fossils were found today but I did find a half decent crab which I will take a picture of soon. These were found in the shingle, just on the surface. The largest tooth is 34mm long and still sharp.
