71Plums
Hi all this is the rock I mentioned in my Intro Post. It took a lot of work getting it back to the car and I would love to know what you all think. We found it at Charmouth near Lyme Regis recently. Kind regards Neil

rejd
Wow. Great hunk of rock. I would of hauled that out as well. You planning on prepping it out? Regg Cato
We have a lot of equivalent pieces over here, only with corals and not ammonites; great find though

71Plums
Lol yeh I couldn't jsut leave it there having uncovered it. Following us along the beachline was a huge party of children armed with rock hammers, I could see it being smashed open any old how. At least now it's safe and I intend to smash it open (haha jokes). I actually want to try prepping it myself. I have a couple of other chunks to practice with first.
