Green River Formation - Claw? Tooth?

This was found in Lyman, Wyoming, USA (Green River Formation) during excavation for construction.

I'm new to this, and thought it was a tooth, but google images only shows grooves like these on claws.

The fossil is 55~60mm long; BG grid is a 5mm grid. Any help would be appreciated.
