trempie4
Hello All, another one I could use some input on..... this one could be more vague than my request of a few moments ago. Details: This was picked up at a flea market in Northern Germany, 20+ years ago... Memory is an issue, so I am unclear as to whether this was from a juvenile or a smaller species of mammoth. Dimensions are: 3.25" x 3.25" x 1.5" Again, any input would be appreciated Cheers- Joe... (evolution ROCKS....)
squalicorax
Hey joe looks like you got a fragment of Mammoth Molar. Since it is from Germany, it was likely found in the Baltic Sea, as alot of them are found there. FossilDudeCO
nice tooth! definitely mammoth it looks like it is a complete tooth to me so I'd say juvenile. Rylawz may be able to add more if he finds this post. Edited October 24, 2013 by Sully
